Here's how to make the best out of your car shopping experience.
1- Make sure you buy at the right time of year
Did you know that during the end of the year, dealerships are usually liquidating their stocks and start to offer bigger discounts? It's slightly past that time now, and sales volumes declined slightly, but that doesn't mean that you can't find a good deal. Follow us on Facebook and you'll keep getting updates on the latest deals and lots of fun stuff.
2- Avoid Smaller Cars
The bigger and more expensive the car, the more you are able to pressure the dealer to budget on their final price. We’ve seen discounts on city cars that can ‘sometimes’ go up to $1,000, but offers on sports cars and larger cars can sometimes reach more than $6,000! Check out the offer values in our Car Ads section and see for yourself!
*Note that the above is not a rule of thumb. As some cars get bigger and more expensive, they might be more likely to lose value over time.
3- Ask for freebies
You can get perks that are just as valuable as discounts, lots of dealerships offer customizations or modifications like painting rims and mirrors, and even screen additions. Just ask!
4- Wait For Financing Deals
For long term discounts, shop around for the best financing deals. Don’t rush into signing paperwork before making sure you’re getting the best deal in town! You can frequently get 0% finance if you keep an eye out for special promotions. If you want to know how much you'll save on a deal, you'll have to compare between the offer you're getting and a loan at a normal interest rate. But guess what? You don't need to, because we do it for you, and tell you straight-up how much you'll be saving over the duration of the loan.
