GMC Acadia Review

May 13,2019

Designed to offer great versatility and refinement, with more advanced safety technologies – The GMC Acadia is built on a new, lighter body structure. It’s a truly distinctive vehicle, with a bold exterior, a confident stance and attention to detail that bears the mark of professional-grade engineering.

A new standard 3.6L V-6 engine is more powerful and efficient, it delivers 310 horsepower and 9.41 L/100km highway (FWD models). In addition, the Acadia’s new engines feature direct injection, variable valve timing, and active fuel management. The new V6 is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled drive mode selector.

As a contemporary crossover designed for families on the go, the Acadia offers the latest active safety features to protect them, as well as the latest technologies to keep them connected. The active safety features – such as Front Pedestrian Braking and Surround Vision Camera – are designed to help make drivers more aware of their surroundings and potential crash situations.

With this in mind, the vehicle is also equipped with a new, standard rear seat alert that can remind the driver when an item may have been left in the second- and third-row seats.
